Angelina was born on June 4, 1975 in Los Angeles, California, to actor Jon Voight and actress Marchelina Bertrand. Most of Jolie’s family member was engaged with acting.                                     In 2010, Jolie went on to earn the lead role in the action packed “Salt” about a CIA agent ‘Evelyn Salt’, who is on the run after being accused of being Russian Spy. That same year, she played the mysterious Elise Clifton ward in the espionage flick “The Tourist” (2010) alongside ‘Johnny Depp.  In 2011 she directed the romantic drama “In the Land of Blood and Honey” which depicted a love story set during the Bosnian War and appeared in the animated sequel “Kung Fu Panda 2”. After two years, Jolie biggest commercial success as a 2014 came with the dark fantasy film “Maleficent” (2014) the film grossed $758 million worldwide and featured her in the eponymous role. Later in the same year, she directed “Unbroken” (2014) a War drama based on a book of the same name and earned more than $163 million worldwide. Next year Jolie co-starred with Brad Pitt the romantic drama film “By the Sea” (2015) a slowly paced Mediterranean tale set in the 1970s about married couple and the tensions of their relationship. In 2016, Angelina Jolie lent her voice to the computer animated film “Kung Fu Panda 3” which grossed $521.2 million at the box office.

Major Works:

                             She played the role of model ‘Gia Carangi’ in 1998 HBO biographical film “Gia”. This HBO biographical film tells the true life story of American model ‘Gia Carangi’ her struggle with drug abuse and her eventual death from AIDS at the age of 26. This film won Golden Globe and the screen Actors Guild Award.
