Johnny Depp
is a multi-talented personality. He is an American actor, producer and
musician. Johnny was born as John Christopher Depp II on June 9,1963
in Owensboro, Kentucky US. He is an American by nationality belonging to the
white- American ethnicity. He is the youngest of four children born to Betty
Sue Palmer and John Christopher Depp. Johnny Depp’s father is a Civil Engineer
where as his mother is a waitress. He is of English ancestry mostly with some
ancestors from elsewhere in Europe. He is descended from a French Huguenot
Immigrant, Pierre Deppe OR Dieppe. Who settled in Virginia around 1700.
Depp
frequently moved to different places during his childhood. He siblings lived in
more than 20 different places during that time. His parents divorced in 1978.
Later his mother married Robert Palmer who became an inspiration to him. He has
the persona of a superstar since his early childhood. He started dreaming of
becoming a musician after his mother gifted him a guitar. His mother gifted him
a guitar when he was 12.
Career:
Johnny Depp dropped out of
high school to pursue a music career at age of 16. His band ‘The Kids’
relocated from Florida. Where he spent the majority of his childhood to Los
Angeles, In 1983 Depp married Lori Anne Allison, who worked as a makeup artist
while he struggled as a musician. Allison had her friend the actor Wicolas Cage
arrange for Depp to audition with director Wes Craven and Depp made his film
debut as a teenager eaten by his own bed in “A Nightmare on Elm Street” (1984).
He divorced Allison the following years.
In 1985
Johnny Depp released another super hit movie “Private Resort”. He also appeared in the 1986
film “Platoon”
with Charlie Sheen, Tom Berenger and Willem Dafoe. In 1987 he shot to stardom when
he replaced Jeff Yagher in the role of undercover cop Tommy Hanson in the
popular TV series “21 Jump Street”. In the 1990s the starred as the title characters in
the films “Cry-Baby” (1990), “Edward Scissorhands” (1990), “Arizona Dream”
(1993), “What’s Eating Gilbest Grape” (1993). Benny and joon 1993
romantic drama “Ed Wood” (1994), “Don Juan DeMarco” (1995), and “Donnie Brasco”
(1997), he also starred in “Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas” (1998) as
Raoul Duke, “The Ninth Gate” as Dean Corso in (1999). In the last of 1999 he
appeared in the sci-fi/horror film “The Astronaut’s Wife”. The same year he
teamed up again with Burton in “Sleepy Hollow”, brilliantly portraying Ichabod
Crane.
In the 2000s he
was in the films “Chocolate” (2000), “Blow” (2001), “From Hell” (2001) and “Once Upon a
Time in Mexico” (2003), but the middle of 2003 Johnny Depp starred and
the first of the “Pirates of the Caribbean: The Curse of the Black Pearl”. He play
role in pirate captain Jack Sparrow. He was nominated for the Best Actor Oscar
for his role which became hugely popular among the cinema going public. Moreover

In 2010, Depp was cast as the
Mad Hatter in the live action film “Alice in Wonderland”, the same year he went
on to star in “The Tourist” with Angelina Jolie and was nominated for a Golden
Globe Award for Best Actor in a motion picture comedy. He has starred in “The Rum Diary”
with Amber Heard (2011), “Pirates of the Caribbean: On Stranger Tides” (2011),
“Rango” (2011) and “Hugo (2011). Johnny Depp is very famous and people
